"Since working out exclusively at home, I’ve been able to focus more on my technique.  There’s no one else to look at and no one else’s movements to distract me from my own.  I’ve also been able to work out more frequently (6 days a week most weeks) – routine helps with motivation – if working out is just part of my daily routine, it becomes automatic.  It’s just part of what I do.  My primary reason for working out is mental, there’s no substitute for it.  For me, it’s moving meditation.  I don’t think about anything else but what I’m doing right then and there – singularly focused.  Working out helps me with my overall mood, stress, self-esteem, and body image.  I’m also coming up on 2 years living alcohol-free so working out helps me with that, too."

Favorite Movement:

DB Front squats (and anything lower body) – if it ain’t tight, it ain’t right. ?
